Discover Your Dosha — A Free Ayurvedic Quiz
Your body has a baseline. The way you sleep, stress, and recover all trace back to it. Ayurveda calls it your dosha. This quiz figures out which one runs deepest in you.
What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old system from India built on a simple idea: you aren't unwell unless you're living against your own nature. Before asking what's wrong, it asks who you are, and works from there.
Five Elements
Ayurveda sees everything, bodies included, as combinations of five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space. Those elements cluster into three doshas. The ratio you were born with is your constitution, and it colors everything.
Prakriti: Your Baseline
Prakriti is the word for how you naturally are when nothing's wrong. It covers your body type, digestion, sleep patterns, emotional tendencies. The whole picture. It doesn't change over your lifetime. Knowing it means knowing where your edges are before you hit them.
Dosha & Balance
When your doshas are balanced, you feel like yourself: clear, resilient, energized in a way that doesn't burn out. When they're not, you feel it: anxiety, inflammation, that persistent sense of being slightly off. Massage has been one of Ayurveda's primary tools for recalibrating since the beginning.
The same hour of massage hits differently depending on who's on the table
A Vata type needs slow, warm, anchoring work. A Pitta type needs to cool down, not intensify. A Kapha type needs to be woken up, not put to sleep. Knowing your dosha means your session actually responds to what your body is asking for.
Vata, Pitta & Kapha
Most people are a mix, but one usually runs the show. Skim these and see what sounds like you, then take the quiz to get your specific breakdown.
